FlexArrayer

The FlexArrayer puts researchers in the driver's seat by allowing the quick and easy synthesis of high quality, custom-made microarrays and oligopools (see FleXelect) in house. From idea to experiment in virtually no time.
The current FlexArrayer has the following specifications;
  • Spotdensity is up to 100.000
  • The minimal spotsize is 30 µm
  • All larger spot sizes & shapes are possible
  • Probelengths are up to 60 nucleotides
  • The arrays have the normal 1' x 3' format and are compatible with standard hybridisation and scanning devices
  • The production capacity is 1 array per day.

FAST
Speed is the essence in both academic and commercial research. The Flexarrayer produces custom microarrays in a day on standard format glass slides. The FlexArrayer provides you with the tool to quickly optimize and perform your experiments.

FLEXIBLE
The FlexArrayer offers complete flexibility in the design of oligonucleotides. Probes can vary in length and can be positioned anywhere on the microarray-surface. Feature size and shape can also be freely adapted. If you want to explore new surface or synthesis chemistries based on nucleotides or their analogues, the FlexArrayer's fluidic system can accommodate alternative nucleotide building blocks as well as linkers. As the FlexArrayer uses standard 1'x3' slides it is compatible with conventional hybridization stations, scanning devices and sub-array systems.

FOCUSED
The FlexArrayer offers you the possibility to very efficiently pursue specific targets of interest in both lead discovery as well as lead validation, from genomic selection prior to next generation sequencing to the validation of potential biomarkers. Because a FlexArray is perfectly compatible with standard sub-array systems, it can be used to efficiently and cost-effectively analyze a selected set of targets in multiple samples.
