Fred Dom
CEO
After his graduation in economics at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Fred Dom joined in 1993 Rijnvelden investment company, focussing on early stage technology companies. In 1994 he started, RSP Technology BV. a high tech metal company based on an exclusive license from Delft University. Fred is also advisor to the Ministry of Economic Affairs in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Joop van Helvoort
CSO
Joop van Helvoort has extensive experience in the area of molecular biology, in particular microarray technology. After receiving his doctorate at the Agricultural University Wageningen, and his PhD at the University of Amsterdam in the area of molecular microbiology, he pioneered biomarker discovery using microarrays at the VUMC and in 2002 became the manager of the DNA microarray facility in Utrecht.
Hans van Rosendael
CFO
Hans studied Economics at the University of Amsterdam and is also qualified as registeraccountant. Hans started his career in auditing with Ernst & Young and Unilever and in 1983 became Controller in Berghuizer Paperfactory and in 1988 CFO - the Netherlands for the pharmaceutical multinational Astra (later AstraZeneca).
Stefan Matysiak
CTO
Stefan graduated from the University of Konstanz, Germany with a PhD in Nucleic Acid chemistry. After Post-Doc positions at the National Research Center for Biotechnology in Braunschweig (GBF) and at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg (DKFZ) he worked several years at Applied Biosystems in California as staff scientist. He was in charge of a start-up microarray company in Boston (Febit inc.) before he recently joined the team of Flexgen as Chief Technology Officer.
